Does ReportHero modify my Monday.com data?

No. ReportHero operates in read-only mode. It syncs data from your boards but never creates, updates, or deletes items, columns, or automations in Monday.com.

How often does data sync?

ReportHero syncs your board data automatically on a regular schedule. You can also trigger a manual sync from the Settings page at any time. After a sync, your dashboards and reports reflect the latest data.

Can I use ReportHero with multiple workspaces?

Yes. During setup, you can select boards from any workspace you have access to. You can switch between workspaces or add boards from additional workspaces at any time from the Board Selection page.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. ReportHero uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transfer. Your Monday.com access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. We never share your data with third parties.

ReportHero is built with enterprise-grade security. All authentication tokens are encrypted, sessions are managed server-side, and API access follows the principle of least privilege.

Troubleshooting

I can't see my boards after installation

Make sure you've completed the onboarding process. Navigate to Board Selection in the sidebar and confirm that your boards are selected. If boards still don't appear, try triggering a manual sync from Settings.

My dashboard shows "No data"

This usually means the selected board hasn't been synced yet, or the widget's filters are too restrictive. Try these steps:

    Check Board Selection

    Confirm the board is selected in the Board Selection page.

    Verify Status Mappings

    Go to Status Mapping and make sure your statuses are mapped to workflow stages.

    Adjust Filters

    In the widget settings, ensure the date range and filters aren't excluding all items.

Cycle time data seems incorrect

Cycle time is calculated based on status transitions. For accurate results, ensure that:

  • All relevant statuses are mapped to the correct workflow stages.
  • Items have actually moved between statuses (not just been created in a final state).
  • The Status Mapping page shows the expected stage assignments.

If you change status mappings, historical cycle time data will be recalculated based on the new mappings. This may take a few minutes for boards with many items.
